懂你老媽

Tony Roma's lalalala...

I still think this is the best pork ribs recipe. Juicy and sweet... *slurp* 滿滿的幸福感覺~~

Too bad we should not over-indulge in this too frequent hehe.

Before this, the last time I had 懂你老媽 was in Vegas. Before that, we wanted to have it in Sydney after I found the Hurricane's too disappointing but somehow we forgot about it. So that makes the last last time we had it was in Bangkok back in 2010.

Right, it's like once or twice a year kinda frequency. (so much for being a fan haha)

This is the "regular" baby ribs, technically it's three-quarter of the full rack.
And I can only finish 1/3 of this "regular" portion by myself hehe~
The rice tasted like chicken rice, which is weird.

Onion rings!!
Spinach was good too~
But the wings and drumsticks were bleh.

Location: Suntec basement (near the fountain), Singapore (there are also other branches, go google).
Time: before going to the IT fair to get my camera. Pics above were still taken by my faithful 3gs.

Perhaps we would up the frequency to once a quarter? Mmmmm~~ I have never tried the ones in Msia, heard they serve only beef (racks?)

Anyways.

Belt-puncher

I like buying a lot of cheap belts, usually not more than RM15/THB150/SGD8/USD6 (depending on where I bought) per piece.

My record of lowest price per piece of belt is THB20 in Bangkok Chinatown LOL
Those were the days (遠目~)

But in reality I don't really like using belts ahha!

Top left: from Forever21 - not more than US$6 per piece
Bottom left: In green and blue, those are my 20 baht belts I mentioned!
Bottom right: mostly from Platinum~

Actually I realised the main reason why I didn't use any of them as often was because they hardly fit, usually loose. Places like the Chinatown wholesale market stalls won't provide any extra punching service. Even if they do, like those at the Platinum Mall, I always made the mistake of overestimating my waist line hoho.

So!

While looking for something else at the hardware store the other day, I suddenly thought of looking for the punch!

And surprisingly they have it in stock (the last available one)! and even more surprisingly was it wasn't very expensive to own one.

Bought this for SGD 6.90

So I happily brought it home <3

Call me a belt-puncher now please.

It was cool. Seriously.

Sediakan platform shoe atau kasut hujan sebelum hujan LOL

----

終於買了新相機。便宜的。還沒有時間那出來把玩。

天啊,三月快快過完吧。

快~要~爆~炸~了~

Fridays

The most common phrase used on Friday mornings is:

TGIF!

The most common phrase used on Friday evenings is:

Have a good weekend!

... ... ... ... ... just a random thought on a hectic Friday

I wish I would really have a 'good' weekend heehah!

So is everyone.

Have a good weekend ahead~~~

DoubleTree by Hilton KL

Attended a wedding dinner here, might as well spend the night here as well.

Rates we found online for a standard double room was around RM270++ per night.

I heard this was supposedly a "no-frills" hotel?

Seriously?

Of course we can't really compare with the usual 5-star hotel (I'm judging by price-wise). But the room looks standard and comfortable enough to me.

Until I realised they have this!

A see-through toilet wall!
*why I always like new hotels* hehe*

And then we looked out of the window and saw this view...

Doesn't really matter though. We were there for a night only and I would draw the curtain anyways.

Toiletries was ok. The only thing I found missing is a hand-washing soap.

Oh the lovely welcome gift... chocolate cookies my fav!

nom nom nom... I nomed 1.5 of them ;p

Such big cookies always made me thought of Subway's cookies. Moist but crunchy still, and sweet and yummy~

Hotel location: Jalan Tun Razak
Nearest LRT: Ampang Park, one station away from KLCC.

Due to certain changes in life, I think I'm going to start a label named "Malaysia" from now on.
There's also another new label in the pipeline, which I shall reveal soon after I write something about that.

Angpao

Used one of them again!!
Yay!

Truth is I don't really like to attend weddings hehe.
But then I guess most people feel the same.

But I do like to finish off all these make-shift angpaos :)

If only all weddings are just next door...
So I don't need to travel much lol
